The Mel Ember Student Scholarship Contest in Anthropology gives anthropology students who are passionate about their area of study a chance to win up to $750 in scholarship money. Students must submit an essay or a video on why the study of anthropology is important in today’s world, a recommendation from a sponsoring professor, and allow Pearson to quote their essay or excerpt their video in our products and advertising materials in order to be eligible for the contest. The deadline for submission is December 31, 2011.
