Taking place from September 23-24, 2011 at the Hilton Bonnet Creek in Orlando, Florida, Pearson's 8th annual Course Redesign Workshop was another two-day, activity packed event covering a variety of topics all focusing on course redesign.
From registration, to opening remarks from Carolyn Jarmon, through sessions focused on products and strategies, faculty from across the country came together to learn from their peers and share best practices.
An assortment of Faculty Advisors across all Pearson's disciplines presented and facilitated throughout the conference. Their slides and the materials they shared will be available online by mid-November. Notes from the sessions are already posted online with slides coming soon.
Also, don't forget to keep the conversation on Course Redesign going with Pearson's Course Redesign Forum. Get involved in discussions, post your own best practices as a blog entry - this new community is meant to give you an avenue to connect with other faculty about course redesign at any time.
