Development Summit Focuses on MyMathLab and Course Redesign

Taking place from February 2-4, 2012 in Chandler, Arizona, Pearson’s MyMathLab Development Summit was the perfect (sunny) venue for discussing short- and long-range visions of MyMathLab with 15 faculty attendees. Topics discussed included: enhancements to MyMathLab, eCourses and Ready-to-Go courses, and MyMathLab’s new design and functionality.

The last day of the meeting was spent collectively discussing broader topics like resource allocation for priority product enhancements, efficacy, and product training. A few Faculty Advisors presented their redesigned math courses, and an open forum was conducted for faculty to share their own discussion topics with their peers, as well as their personal recommendations for upcoming product releases.

“Everyone only had positive things to say and they are really excited about the updates/changes being made to MyMathLab,” says Amanda Avedissian, Marketing Coordinator for Pearson’s Results and Peer Marketing Team.
