Faculty Advisor Blog Sweepstakes

This summer we’ll be holding monthly drawings, each for a $250 gift card to Amazon, for those faculty advisors who post comments to blog articles.  Posts will continue to go up weekly, on Wednesdays, throughout the summer and your comments and feedback will help us shape future articles.

Each appropriate comment you leave will get you one entry into that month’s drawing.  Drawings will be held at the end of June, July, and August.

An appropriate comment is one that provides a reaction to or adds something to the content featured in the article you’re commenting on.  Posting vague comments like “Wow” or “Great Article” are not eligible for a drawing entry.

Winners will be announced on the blog after each drawing.  Winners will also be asked to answer a few brief questions before receiving their gift certificate so we can share what each winner is working on within their own course(s) with the faculty advisor community.

In order for comments to be valid as an entry into the blog, you have to be following the blog.  It’s the only way we can track who is posting.  If you’re not logged into the blog, your post won’t be attributed to you.  Each Faculty Advisor is only eligible to win once.

  4. I am SUCH a newbie to blogs, but... am willing to tag along. My journalism background has led me to be wary of these ubiquitous opinion-posting sites. At least on this blog I can verify the credentials of the participants.

  5. Not to worry. Each comment is checked before it's published to the blog.
